It is with much excitement that I am pleased to introduce to the lovely Dotty readers… Dotty Magazine Issue Five!!
We first launched the magazine in the Autumn of last year, and here we are again. A whole year has whizzed by in a slightly surreal, polka-dot blur which has been full of learning curves, amazing business relationships, and some truly super photo shoots.
The design guru that is Curly Chops Design has done it again, creating a truly exceptional edition of Dotty Magazine. There’s something a little different about the cover of this issue, as you may or may not have noticed. This time, we opted for a real bride on the cover of the magazine, which is terribly exciting as that real bride also happens to be me, Mrs Dotty!
It’s exciting for two reasons. First of all, we’re always looking to push boundaries and break stereotypes at Dotty HQ, so a real bride on the cover is just awesome. It’s also epic because it reminds me that I actually got married this year!! The friends, family and wedding suppliers who came together to make our wedding day one we will never forget – we honestly can’t thank you enough. So, needless to say, we have included a beautiful selection of photos from the big Dotty day which were captured the extraordinarily talented Ben Selway Wedding Photography.
This issue also includes one of my most favourite bridal shoots to date. The superb team that have created the 1970’s inspired images are an extremely talented bunch. Captured by Christy Blanch, and styled by Kate Cullen – it’s a gorgeous burst of inspiration.
We’ve also got a whole host of talented wedding suppliers, designers, crafters and artisans. We hope you love this issue as much as we do. It’s full to the brim with unique wedding inspiration, useful hints and tips, fashion, accessories and much, much more!
