Moodboard Monday – Urban and Rural Weddings

urban rural wedding
This week it’s a tale of two cities (or counties), as I look at urban verses rural weddings.
When it comes to choosing your perfect wedding setting, it’s a bit like ‘house-hunting’. It’s all about ‘location, location, location’, personal taste, & importantly, it’s got to feel right. Whether you’re a city hipster or a country bumpkin, you’ll know where your heart belongs.
The UK has some of the most beautiful places in the world to get married, from Cornish beaches to the Lake District; from quaint villages to rolling country-sides. But sometimes, you can take the girl out of the city, but you can’t take the city out of the girl. So… don’t!
Instead embrace your urban surroundings & capture the beauty in the mundane!

Urban Rural Wedding
I love everything about the urban and rural wedding ideas that Faye has featured this week. I would certainly place myself on the country bumpkin end of the wedding day spectrum, but an urban setting doesn’t seem quite so strange now I’ve seen both perspectives. Where are you getting married? Care to share?
Beautiful work as ever! You can find more of Faye’s wonderful design work on her Facebook Page. She also has the most lovely bespoke and vintage range of Wedding Stationery, an absolute MUST if you’re organising a vintage wedding!
